✅ INTENDED FOR REFILLING DI CARTRIDGES: This DI resin refill was made to fit into one of our refillable DI cartridges. Refilling cartridges is far more cost-effective than discarding empty cartridges.
✅ DI RESIN COLOR-CHANGING: To remove Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) from water, the DI resin employs positive Cations and negative Anions. When the medium is depleted, it literally changes color from Dark Brown/Blue to Tan.
✅ PACKED FOR THE FRESHEST AND MOST EFFECTIVE RESULTS: To protect the quality and ensure maximum freshness, ultimate efficacy, and shelf life, our color-changing DI resin is packaged in transparent plastic bags that are vacuum-sealed within foil-lined Mylar bags.
✅ WORKS WELL WITH: Cartridge tops removed to enable bulk resin refills. Compatible with most other home or aquarium/hydro DI and RODI systems, including Captive Purity, Kent Marine, Seachem, Coralife, BRS, and most others.
✅ TOTAL DISSOLVED SOLIDS ARE REDUCED TO ZERO: In the last step of a RO/DI system, the deionization resin is required to reduce TDS to zero. TDS is removed from water via ion exchange.

Color-Changing Nuclear-Grade DI Resin. The color-changing resin is recommended since it indicates when you should start monitoring your TDS meter more frequently. We vacuum package our resin, which eliminates nearly all carbon dioxide from the packing. As the resin is consumed, it turns from blue to light brown. The color indication in DI resin is only a visual signal of when the resin is nearing exhaustion and should not be used to determine when the resin is entirely drained; it can frequently last much longer. We highly advise you to use inline TDS meters to determine whether it's time to update your resin.
